Ask anybody that knows African food in NYC and the conversation cannot progress too far without mention of B&D Halal. The food is off the chain. One major problem though. You literally could not find it on the map in 2016 and get this….no online ordering. There team needed a digital makeover like really fast.
B&D Halal needed a modern but minimal logo and brand identity. After multiple iterations, we arrive at the perfect expression. Our approach to photography was all about showcasing the distinct personality of West-African food that is rarely portrayed. Working with the Seamless team, we also wanted to turbocharge online ordering to permanently upgrade the way this “whole in a wall” engages the new age culinary consumer.
